In the Chicagoland area we are used to snow in the wintertime, not rain! We want to remind everybody to stay safe during tomorrow and this weekend as the rain freezes into ice and becomes dangerous. We know that ice can make anyone a victim, young or old, so we all have to be on the lookout to keep each other safe. The National Care Planning Council easily shows the elderly how they can prevent slipping and falling on ice in their article: Avoiding Slips and Falls in Bad Weather by Valerie Michel Buck. We all may not like this weather, but we can’t change it! All we can do is stay safe during the next slippery couple of days!
